How to send money?

IME Pay allows you to send as well as receive money. You can choose from any of the following services available through us and send money to your desired ones;

I. To a friend or family    

This service is simply wallet to wallet transfer. With this service, you can send money directly to your friends and family via IME Pay app. All you need to do is;

  1. Tap on ‘Send money’ menu located at the top navigation bar.
    1. Tap on ‘To a friend and family’ option
    2. Enter receiver’s mobile number. You can also search receiver from your phone’s address book.
    3. Enter amount to be sent to the receiver. You can also select the preferred denomination of amount.
    4. Enter your 4-digit PIN
    5. Review your transaction details and tap on ‘Proceed’ button.
      • Amount will be credited to the receiver’s wallet
  2. Bank Deposit

Bank deposit allows you to send money from your IME Pay wallet to the receiver’s bank account. Follow the below instruction for bank deposit via IME Pay;

  1. Tap on ‘Send money’ menu located at the top navigation bar.
    1. Tap on ‘Bank Deposit’ option
    1. If you have linked your bank account with IME Pay wallet, Linked bank card will be seen at the top. To transfer wallet balance to your linked bank account;
      1.  Tap on your linked bank card
      1. Enter or select the amount to be deposited and tap on ‘Proceed’ button
      1. Enter your 4-digit PIN
      1. Review your transaction details and tap on ‘Proceed’ button. Amount will be credited to your bank account instantly.
  • If you need to send money to other’s bank account, you have to;
    • Select the receiver’s bank name from the drop-down list
    • Enter account holder’s name
    • Enter receiver’s account number.
    • Enter amount to be deposited and tap on ‘Proceed’ button.
    •  Enter your 4-digit PIN
    • Review your transaction details and tap on ‘Proceed’ button. Amount will be credited to the receiver’s bank account.
